Fatacil — Lagoa’s crafts, tourism, agriculture, trade and industry fair — is one of the oldest and most visited fairs in southern Portugal: ten days of exhibitors, crafts, food and concerts every night.

What it is
The main stage hosts very popular Portuguese artists; the line-up is usually unveiled at the BTL travel fair in February or March.
It’s a few minutes from Carvoeiro, Ferragudo and Portimão, so it fits easily into a western Algarve holiday.
Tips for your visit
- Nights with the biggest concerts get packed — arrive before 21:00.
- There’s a food area with regional dishes; worth having dinner there.
- Combine it with a beach day in Carvoeiro or the Seven Hanging Valleys trail.
